  • The short answer: if you’re looking for body neutral, accessible and a radically inclusive community, then YES. Fitness In Place is a space for you. We prioritize movement that serves you at the capacity you have in the day, improve strength for your everyday life, and manage your mental, physical and emotional health.

  • When you sign up, you’ll gain instant access to the sign up for live classes and depending on your membership, the on-demand library as well. After you sign up for a class, a Zoom link to join and feel the power of moving together!

  • Not necessary! We use household items to build strength, ranging from broomsticks to backpacks. If you have traditional gym equipment like small weights, dumbbells, or resistance bands, then please feel free to use that as well. We recommend using a yoga or exercise mat if you have one as well as chairs and walls for support.

  • Yes there is a $15 drop in fee for most classes. Otherwise, live classes and on-demand content is reserved for members, because the real value here is signing up, connecting with an incredible community and feeling your strength improve week after week!

  • Fitness In Place is for strong allies, questioning folks, and all kinds of LGBTQ+ folks. We do not tolerate any level of homophobia, racism, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, fat-phobia, hateful language or micro-aggressions. This will result in immediate removal from the community.

  • Beginners are always welcome, no matter your skill level or experience. Every class and video has options to find an easier or more challenge way to exercise. We always recommend doing what’s right for your body within classes and if that means rest, then rest away and come back to the movement when you can!

  • Yes! Modifications are offered for a range of needs, as well as classes specific for you if you’re managing chronic illness, pain, injury, mental health flares or low energy days.

  • For 1:1 virtual or in person if you cancel the day of, you will lose your session. If you cancel the day before, you will not lose your session. I require cancellations the day before by 4PM so that I can fill the spot.

    There are no contracts at Fitness In Place. Canceling or changing your membership sliding scale is always possible.
